Credit up to $2,500! New Sungrow Trade-in Program 2026 Now Live

Running a Sungrow grid-tied inverter and thinking about an upgrade? Trustpower Solar is here to make that decision easier and more rewarding.


From 1 October 2026, eligible Sungrow trade-in projects can receive up to $2,500 in credit* when upgrading to a new Sungrow Hybrid Inverter + minimum SBH250 Battery System.


How Much Trade-In Credit Is Available?


The trade-in credit is determined by the capacity of the new SBH battery installed.

* The final credit is based on the actual SBH battery capacity installed and is subject to Sungrow’s final approval.

How the Sungrow Trade-in Program Works?


The program operates through a streamlined voucher system, coordinated between installers, TrustPower Solar, and Sungrow. Here’s how it works:

 

  • Pre-Approval: Your installer submits your application on your bealf, including photos and serial numbers of your current inverter.

  • Voucher Issued: Upon approval, a unique voucher code is sent, linked to your installer, site, and specified product.

  • Purchase & Installation: The installer redeems the voucher when purchasing your new hybrid system through Trustpower Solar, completes the installation, and arranges the return of the old inverter via Sungrow’s return portal.

  • Final Verification: Once all documentation is reviewed and verified, the trade-in credit (up to $2,500 ex. GST) is officially issued.
